Neurodermitis

The multifunctional healthcare clothing from Silver25^® helps many people and contributes to healing skin diseases. When it comes to neurodermatitis, in particular, the high amount of silver in the fabric promotes a perceptible and quick relief from the typical symptoms, such as itching, scaling and oozing skin. Silver with its antibacterial effect destroys the germs on the skin and prevents them from reproduction. In modern medicine, allergists, dermatologists and paediatricians take a holistic view at diseases.
The diagnosis „endogenous eczema“, as neurodermatitis is actually called, is often classified as hereditary and thus immedicable. Neurodermatitis is, however, a syndrome where many factors come in, such as food-related metabolism, the (intestine-associated) behaviour of the immune system, psychosomatics and also hormonal factors.
Silver25^® textiles are worn directly on the skin and unfold their effect due to the 100 % contact of the fine-meshed silver-coated fibres. The bedding enwraps the body, promoting a more restful and relaxing sleep and thus the general well-being.

Contraindications / Side-effects
Allergies to silver are known to be very rare. In such a case, skin incompatibility may be provoked. If any hypersensitivity reaction is noticed, treatment should be stopped and a doctor be consulted, when appropriate.

What do you have to observe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There are no indications of any counter-effects during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Precautionary measures and special instructions
No special precautions are necessary when the textiles are used appropriately.

Kind and duration of application
Before wearing Silver25^® textiles, first wash them.
A declining effect may be seen, depending on various factors: frequency of washing, type of detergent and washing temperature. Please do not apply any creams or ointments on the skin before and while wearing the textiles as otherwise the effect of the silver does not work. Please note that we offer extremely high-value and highly-elastic medical special-type textiles which require careful handling due to their usage (e.g. frequent dressing and undressing, washing).
It is recommended to wash the textiles every three days so as to protect the material and preserve long-lasting effectiveness.

Radiation protection

Our body is exposed to various electromagnetic rays day and night. Many people react sensitively to radiation from mobile phones (mobile phone network), computers (Bluetooth, WiFi), household gadgets (radio-controlled alarm clocks, microwave oven, etc.) or from other sources, e.g. terrestrial radiation. Bad night’s sleep, night sweats, bedwetting of children, nocturnal urgency, concentration disorders, loss of efficiency, inner unrest, lacking body’s defences, sleepiness, allergies, rheumatism, migraine, and meanwhile even cancer are factors attributable to electromagnetic radiation. Clothes and bedding made of Silverwave^® shields 95% of electromagnetic radiation. Within the tested frequency range of 10MHz to 4 GHz, the textiles provide a shielding effect of over 10dB, which means a shielding effectiveness of 95% and more. The textiles are especially recommended for people with pacemakers and the like, but they can also be used as protective workwear where the human body is exposed to electromagnetic rays (mail scanners, etc.).
